Small Paws® Rescue Inc is the largest organized single breed rescue organization in the United States.    Over 7,500 Bichons have been rescued, vetted and rehomed since its inception in September of 1998. The mission of Small Paws® Rescue Inc., a charitable, federal not-for-profit organization, is to rescue and supply Bichons Frise or Bichon mixes, nationwide, regardless of age or medical condition, with love, shelter, food, human companionship, medical care, and spay-neuter services through local veterinarians until permanent placement is secured into a prescreened loving home.

S'Wheat Rescues & Adoptions, Inc. is dedicated to placing Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and Wheatables who have been abandoned, neglected, are puppymill victims, or whose present owner cannot, or will not, keep them any longer, into loving, caring, and permanent forever homes.

Best Friends Animal Society (Financial Donations)

Their mission is to bring about a time when there are no more homeless pets. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary houses over 1,700 animals.  It is located at Angel Canyon, a 33,000-acre ranch in the majestic red-rock country of southern Utah, just outside the town of Kanab.   Best Friends' No More Homeless Pets campaign created a new vision: A grassroots effort to place dogs and cats who were considered "unadoptable" into good homes, and to reduce the number of unwanted pets through effective spay and neuter programs.  Best Friends is involved in programs across the country as well as ground support in the event of natural disasters.

The Humane Society of the United States works to reduce suffering and improve the lives of all animals by advocating for  better laws investigating  animal cruelty   encouraging  corporations to adopt animal-friendly policies   conducting disaster relief and  animal rescue and providing direct care for thousands of animals at our sanctuaries, emergency shelters, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and mobile veterinary clinics.

Dumb Friends League is a national leader in providing humane care to lost and abandoned animals, rescuing sick, injured and abused animals, adopting pets to new homes, helping pets stay in homes, and educating pet owners and the public about the needs of companion animals.  The Dumb Friends League is the largest animal welfare organization in the Rocky Mountain region

Capital Area Humane Society (Financial Donations)
