I don't think I would want to do it, but here's a CNN segment on various individuals eating dog food for various reasons.

I think that Nikki Moustaki choosing to eat dog food everyday until Nitro's Law is reintroduced to the Ohio House of Representatives is a great way to raise awareness. Ohio is one of the weakest states when it comes to animal cruelty laws, and Nitro was a beautiful Rottweiler that was one of many dogs deliberately neglected and starved to death. The "trainer" was charged with a misdemeanor and served four months.
