The American Veterinary Medical Association issued an alert on June 22nd that chicken jerky treats made in China are possibly associated with kidney disease in dogs. Nothing definitive but it is concerning and worth note to all dog owners. It states that there haven't been recent cases in the US, just Canada. However just today there was an article in an Iowa newspaper about a dog here with this too.
